Stemming from the Jesuit commitment to educate the whole person, Sacred Heart Catholic Church has a rich history, including a Jesuit heritage. Sacred Heart’s Jesuit, Catholic tradition of inspiring members to think and communicate effectively, to foster a love of lifelong learning, to serve others, and to find God in all things.

Following in Ignatius’ footsteps: Following a proven formula, first developed by Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits, each member learns to think critically, reflect, and act for the good of society.

Educating the whole person: In preparing for a life of success, members are challenged to think critically and engage in dialogue. All members are encouraged to continue learning and studying by attending various classes and retreats and participating and many other activities of the Parish.

Faith and Spirituality: Living a life for the greater glory of God and seeking to find God in all things are hallmarks of Jesuit spirituality.  At Sacred Heart, the spiritual development of members of all faith traditions is supported both in- and outside the church.

Personal attention: Sacred Heart members receive personal attention from an outstanding group of priests and office staff.

Service to others: Sacred Heart members stand in solidarity with many communities throughout the world.
